Moon Dust Bay

Moon Dust Bay

@moondustbay is a navigational space that shelters everyone who aspires to the moon literally or in their dreams. It captures the earth's news about the exploration of the Moon and returns them in the form of landmark signals.

The project unfolds through a series of mockumentary broadcasts in which the human, machine, and natural are intentionally intertwined. The first broadcast of the Bay took place in November 2025, on the anniversary of the First Lunar Track. 55 years ago, humans left the first footprint on the moon. But was he really human? Each broadcast is based on real news from economics, psychology, geopolitics, culture, and biotechnology, accompanied by moonlight soundtracks and ending with the heading "TOP Travel Routes."

The timeless presenter of the column and the main witness is Moon Dust itself, the substance of silence, the abrasive of memory, a silent but active participant in all lunar missions. The broadcasts are available on Yandex.Music, Apple Podcast, Spotify, CastBox, mave.stream, t.me/moondustbay

The hybrid travel landscapes of Moon Dust Bay are created on the basis of "moongrams", as the artist called analog photographic images that are obtained without a camera when photo paper is immersed in a river and illuminated by moonlight. Moongrams become the material for training a neural network and subsequent algorithmic generation - this creates a feedback loop between the physical footprint and digital speculation. These landscapes reflect media images, neural network (actually collective human) hallucinations, age-old myths about the Moon and help travellers navigate.
