Sublime landscapes/Гибридные ландшафты

The series is a reflection on the hybrid space with which humans reside.
Landscape discourse in the history of Arts has always reflected the worldview of the epoch, its philosophy, politics and technology. 
Hybrid landscapes series is created from color photograms of five elements: 
*earth (solid elements), 
*water (drops, puddles, streams), 
*fire (electric lightnings), 
*air (movement of colors) 
*and – no, not a man, but his unconscious:)) – artificial intelligence.
For many people, the sublime is an experience of feeling a deep connection to nature or even a divine reality. 
"Sublime landscape", "primary nature" is the prompt to the neural networks, to which Larisa received different visual answers– depending on the dataset on which the models were trained and the image generation parameters. These digital landscapes are a compilation, dreamlike flashes of a huge dataset from the collective human experience,  that a person itself is unable to capture and control. 

Color photograms are created without a camera and not through the human eye. In full darkness digital negatives and 4 material elements manifest themselves through touching the paper, develop in color process without any post-editing.

The artist acts as a mediator in a process, where the laws of nature precisely manifest themselves: the variability and the uniqueness of every moment (and imprint), the impossibility of control of the impacts of element phenomena by a man.
